Two sets of files relating to the reorganization and consolidation of the state's school districts. The first set was kept by John McKee, school district reorganization supervisor for the north/northwest section of the state. Many of the materials relate to the work of reorganization consultants W. E. Hanson, Eugene Meyer, and B. N. Hendrickson and mainly detail their work with the various county superintendents. Included in the files are correspondence and statistics sheets documenting various aspects of the survey, including assessment values, population trends, orders issued by school boards, and school districts' receipts and cash on hand.
